Baby, Autumn & Other things

I am 39 weeks pregnant!! Praise The Lord!! I am due the 24th (or 18th by the sonogram measurements)

During these final weeks, baby experiences rapid growth, my eating habits become more important than ever. Continuing to take my prenatal vitamins and boost my iron intake. Also, drinking lots of water is still important -- this can help to prevent dehydration during labor.

39 weeks is awesome! DO NOT GET ME WRONG... I really want him to come now... actually for awhile, lol...... but i am SOOOO VERY GRATEFUL that he is safe & healthy I was 2 weeks early with Elijah and thought I was going to be about the same with Noah but he is still not here! God blessed Elijah with health, too...Photobucket I have been very upset because I have been with Grandpa for about 11 days and haven't been wanting to impose on him any longer.. he has been MORE than wonderful to take care of Elijah and me. Look at these old pics of Grandpa & Elijah!Photobucket

Photobucket Grandpa lives 1 minute from the hospital here in San Angelo and that is why we are here.. instead of 1.5 hours away in Brownwood! I have really been seeking God about it and had an amazing prayer time today and God really revealed Himself to me about a lot of things and now I just really trust Him like never before about everything and especially the birth of our baby boy! I know that God has this.... duh.. but you know!!!!!!!! I WAS Going to be induced on Tuesday but decided against it to go natural. Noah will come when Jesus is ready and I know he will work out what Grandpa needs to do for Thanksgiving (he is going to Andrews to be with some of our relatives and I don't want to ruin that by being late... trusting God!)

PhotobucketPhotobucketElijah and I have been collecting fall leaves (will put into a placemat when we get home) Today we went on a walk (i began slowly walking today..... it felt amazing! I went slow bc I have to watch blood pressure. I felt the release to walk now...praise God) and we also found an acorn & some pretty pink rose petals have flown into Grandpa's yard so we got one.

I saw Wayne last Sat. night then he came yesterday early and spent all day.. fun! Then this morning before church he left:( ..I love that awesome guy!!!!!!!!

PhotobucketTonight we watch the Dallas Cowboys.. yeah!! They're the only team i've ever really rooted for and I know they're not doing the best right now but I love 'em! Just one of those things you keep doing bc you always have, LOL.

Something I have been reading is THE SHACK... lovin' it so far... it's Emily's and i'm trying to hurry and read it before the baby comes so i can pass it on to Mom & girls. I am also reading Grandmother's Thomas Kincaid journal..... she was so beautiful. I miss her terribly!Photobucket

OCT 17

My blood pressure was normal again! PRAISE THE LORD!!!! I'm measuring just right and the baby's heart beat is perfect!! My nurse told us more about Toxemia (they said today they are not sure that i have that but are treating me like I do -bed rest and low sodium.. lots of water- to be safe.. it is basically very risky high blood pressure) & I am so grateful that my blood pressure is normal & bc the baby is so (SO VERY) active, that proves that my high blood pressure has not cut off blood and nutrients and such to the placenta which would of course would cut off the baby's supply... that's why they ask if the baby moves a lot bc babies that suffer from that just curl up to save energy .. aw! Noah DEFINITELY made his biggest kick last night and had some friends over for a party while he was at it, lol, because he was moving so hard core that i almost had to get out of bed! I was SO sore it was unbelievable! LOL! I have to admit hearing that about toxemia today has made me very conscious about how much he moves, so pray that he keeps his high activity up and that i have peace... and that God will get the praise!

I got to sit at the table and prepare baked potatoes for dinner... and earlier i sat down and gave Wayne & Elijah haircuts.... a lot for me in 1 day. After the Dr's appt we went to see Grandpa before Wayne had to get back to work & that was a nice visit. Grandpa made the yummiest cheese soup with salad and we got to try his very first ever batch of bread sticks.... very delicious! Actually, Elijah said that the SOUP was delicious... i was so glad he ate it bc he hardly ever eats soups! It's great to see Grandpa so much! We were talking the other day about how he not only has 9 grandchildren but he now has 5 great grand children! 2 are still on the way!

We're watching the new Indiana Jones movie & Elijah has a soccer game tomorrow at 9am so i am gonna go.... they won 4-0 last week... go Hurricanes!

OCT 16. 2008

Today I did a lot of Mary Kay on the phone & computer... feeling good about it!

I forgot to say yesterday that I am OFFICIALLY HAPPY AS CAN BE because the cold front is here (i hope to stay!) and it is absolutely beautiful outside! I LOVE THE COLD WEATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LIKE CRAZY!!!!!!!! It always makes me soo happy. Fall is SO my favorite season! I don't like to be FREEZING or anything but i loooove this fall weather! In the winter, I love to get cold and then bundle all up in blankets or under the bed covers!

Elijah had soccer practice at 6:00 and I went. It is about the only thing I get out to do & then afterwards we go to Wal-Mart for whatever. I hate going in there but they have what I need most of the time, LOL We mainly got a few groceries & a blue baby bath tub! yay! I almost got out of there but then I saw some friends, Cassi & her Mom, Jeanene!... isn't that funny how you almost ALWAYS see people you know at Wal-Mart? (in small towns anyway! lol) We talked about how huge the wheelchair is.. omygoodness it is so embarassing how big they make them there... i rather that than the electronic ones that go "BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEEP!" when you back up.. i hope to never get on one of those!! I only rarely go to Wal-Mart now because of the need for a wheelchair bc i'm suppose to be on "low activity"... lol

Elijah is enjoying his green apple (His fave thing to eat!) & is about to go to bed... Wayne & I are having a late dinner... an old, simple fave: Biscuits & Gravy ... i add Jelly and tonight, fresh strawberries.. yum! Wayne made dinner:)

Going to the Dr. in the morning... I'll update.

Hope your day is going great! Love you all!! God is in control!

Goodnight:)!

First Blog!

May my meditations be pleasing to The Lord!

For quite sometime i have wanted to start a blog here. My cousins got me interested and I even started an account but I have never had the time til now........ so here's a new blog for the world and I am excited somehow!

Update:
I am pregnant with Baby Noah & am due November 24 (by sonnogram measurements it's actually the 18th!) so I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been put on bed rest due to high blood pressure and my body being so sensitive but I am trying hard to take it easy & keep pregnant as long as possible! Actually on Monday I was going to stay with Grandpa Day bc He is close to my Dr. but my blood pressure was normal for the first time this pregnancy-praise GOD!!!!! Friday I go back again. God told me when this all started that I can go full term... I just need to follow instructions. Been doing everything while sitting or laying... I was bedridden when I was pregnant with Elijah (i was dilated 2cm for awhile with him!) but now there is soooo much more to do so I am really trusting God and grateful for my family who has been a great help to me.. especially Wayne, my hero! Elijah has been such a big helper too...I'm telling ya! He turns on & off lights for me... moves the fan towards me... hands me stuff..... yeah he is awesome- praise God!
Right now I cannot get out to do my Mary Kay career but I am so grateful that I started this biz because it works for you when you can't & I can actually do it from home! I can still talk to customers on the phone, take orders & send facial packets! Wayne has been my mail & delivery man! It is so cute when he delivers those pink bags! I am working on letting different groups in the community (band/choir/walk4life group/youth group) sell out of my books to help them fund raise for their causes & that is a blessing bc it is like a little army out there working until I can get back into action!

Well I love y'all and have a wonderful night/day!
